Poetry Foundation and Poetry.org, the site for the Academy of American poets, are both sites you could potentially use. Once you’ve found your poem that you want to use, answer the following questions: 1- Include in your post a copy of the poem, 2- When was the poem written and what is it in protest of, 3- Was this style of poetry commonly used by the author, 4- What made you choose this poem? How/why did it speak to you and 5- Do you think this poem made a difference in the issue it was written about?
