Discussion concerned a stereotypical conflict between lying and happiness. In our Thought Experiment, we went over the classic Trolley Problem. But, Mill is very different from most Utilitarians. Do you think Mill would lie? Do you think he would pull the lever?
Looking back, in your opinion, is Bentham or Mill the better philosopher to answer those conflicts? Why?
