What does that degree mean to you—and how might it change your life?

For this Journal, you reflect on your decision to pursue a bachelor’s degree and where you expect it to lead.

 

  • If you have professional experience in the criminal justice system, explain how you expect a degree in criminal justice to affect your professional practice in the criminal justice system.
  • If you do not have professional experience in the criminal justice system, describe your criminal justice perspective and the reasons you have for choosing this degree.

Explain the decision-making process management uses to develop viable courses of action to a variety of management situations.

  1. Describe a decision-making process for employees with two different strengths. Determine how the process might be approached differently for each employee to produce the best results. Use scenarios to convey your idea.
  2. Explain how a manager could develop employees with different strengths. Use scenarios to convey your idea.
  3. Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements
  • Explain the decision-making process management uses to develop viable courses of action to a variety of management situations.
  • Explain the multiple aspects of the managerial planning process and the application of various business- and corporate-level strategies.
  • Use technology and information resources to research issues in management concepts.
  • Write clearly and concisely about management concepts using proper writing mechanics.

Do an analysis of the contract explaining how the four elements of a contract are met: an agreement (offer and acceptance), consideration, legal subject matter (identify the subject matter ie- goods or services being bought or contracted for) and contractual capacity (this is assumed however many contracts indicate somewhere in the contract that the party has capacity to bind the party to the agreement).

Also, identify at least three items we have either discussed in our lectures and discuss why you think they are important to the contract (ie – in the link below you will see references to malpractice insurance, alternative dispute resolution, ethics, etc.). If you use a contract from work that does not contain these items identify and discuss other items you think are important to decide whether or not to enter into the contract that would impact an organizations decision (ie- long term provisions with no ability to get out, indemnification provisions, etc.).

Write a discussion about legalization of medical marijuana.

find a news article on a current hot topic in healthcare. Examples include but are not limited to the ACA’s mandated healthcare, healthcare research, hospital mergers, and legalization of medical marijuana. Review the article and provide an analysis of the ethical implications using one of the models discussed in chapter 2. State each part of the ethical model, analyze the healthcare topic against the model providing your opinion on whether it is ethical.
