Are those who are incarcerated for committing homicide more likely to have experienced physical abuse as a child? Hypothesis: Children who are physically abused in childhood have a higher rate to committing homicide as they get older than children who were not abused in childhood.

I could not help but see the application of various critical criminological approaches as I watched this film again. My question for this forum is how would critical theorists ‘see,’ theorize (attempt to explain the problem), and offer practical solutions to attempt to address the major issues with policing in this country?
