Many times architecture is used to communicate a message or tell a story. This is often seen in museums and memorials, where the message or story behind a museum’s contents, or a memorial’s purpose is enhanced by the design. Select one of the museums or memorials listed below and develop a detailed definition of its message. One architectural feature of the Memorial that contributes to the message is the undulating ground and stone slabs of varying height and mass se in a grid. This causes visitors to feel disoriented, uncertain, confused and lonely, similar to the experiences of Jewish people living in Europe during the Holocaust.
