The End of Cold War

The interpretation of the Cold War provokes numerous debates among historians. For this assignment, you will contest the ‘established’ account of a certain aspect of Cold War history on the basis of new evidence or a revised perspective. We will make a selection of ‘older’ articles from which you choose one to engage with on the basis of more recent historiography. As our selection of ‘older’ scholarship will date from the 1970’s and 1980’s, it will not be too hard to find newer research.
