Select an accident or incident that you consider pivotal in the history of Aviation Safety and Security. The accident or incident can be drawn from any area of aviation safety and security where HF are present (e.g. flight operations, maintenance, customer service, ground handling, security etc).
Using your knowledge of the accident, critically analyses the human factors aspect of relevance to the accident and expand them to include the socio-technical system.
Task 2
Discuss and evaluate, using the scientific literature, the human factors measure that evolved as a result of this accident and lessons learned for the aviation industry.
Task 3
Based on your research findings and your individual learning from the scientific literature, formulate one (1) specific policy that you believe can reduce the effects of human factors on latent conditions and active failures.
