Review detailed descriptions of how useful the Delphi Technique/Delphi method of estimating can be from assigned readings, PMI resources and research. Often, Delphi estimates are done “anonymously” to reduce bias.
This method is based on group brainstorming. It is ok to hear one another’s estimates: the learning objective is to learn that this method provides a simple ‘averaging’ of estimates and is often very accurate!
