Research a health care organization or a network that spans several states within the U.S. (Example: United Healthcare, Vanguard, Banner Healthcare, etc.). Harvard Business Review Online and Hoover’s Company Records, found in the GCU Library, are useful sources. You may also find pertinent information on your organization’s webpage. Review “Singapore Airlines Case Study.” Prepare a  paper that focuses on the organization or network you have selected. Your essay should assess the readiness of the health care organization or network in addressing the health care needs of citizens in the next decade, and include a strategic plan that addresses issues pertaining to network growth, nurse staffing, resource management, and patient satisfaction. Provide a comparison to the health care organization or network and the Singapore Airlines. Include any cultural issues that may influence the practices listed above.

The Founding Fathers of the country were wary of too strong a central government especially in the area of criminal justice, which is why over half of the Bill of Rights deals with criminal procedure. In particular, they were concerned with the use of “general warrants” where King George’s men would just fill in the blanks as needed in a search warrant and then execute it. Therefore the search warrant under the Fourth Amendment has specific requirements of particularity (i.e. specificity) and probable cause. Furthermore, the process reflects the general restrictions of checks and balances in our government. In today’s world, are these requirements too much to ask of law enforcement personnel?

consider some of the stereotypes, myths and misconceptions around addiction. We will examine how prominent images can influence our perception and how we define addiction as well as how such images can reinforce myths and influence ones’ sense of self. We will explore how images and common stereotypes define addiction – not only in our minds, but also in the larger, collective view? Consciousness of societies and cultures.

We will discuss the ways our thinking and perceptions impact people with addictions, including their willingness to accept and manage their illness, their self-concept and their place in society.

First, conduct an internet search for images of addiction (using Google or any other search engine available to you) and if you have not do so, read the module lectures. In your initial post address the following:

Identify and describe (remembering to give credit to images/sources) some of the more common images you found in your search. You can choose to include the images, or just provide descriptions of what you found.
Indicate how these images contribute to stereotypes and myths about what defines addiction.
How do you think these common images and stereotypes affect people with addiction (emotionally, psychologically, socially, culturally, etc.)? How do they influence the ways addiction and addicted individuals are perceived by others?
How do the images confirm stereotypes and myths about addiction and addicted individuals? How might they impact a person’s willingness to seek help and manage recovery?
How might they shape an individual’s attitudes and behaviors? (Refer to lecture 3)
After submitting your first main post, read several posts of fellow classmates, then respond to the main posts of at least two (2) other students regarding their main post about images.

Training Program: Design a full 12-week periodized training program for the client described in the Client Profile. Be very specific as you design the training program. This is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your full comprehension of the information and concepts discussed throughout the course. List the types of exercise, duration, sets, reps, rest intervals, and so on.
Include the following in your case study submission:
A description of your professional responsibilities as discussed in the stages of the drawing-in process (Unit 12)
Discussion of any fitness tests, methods of evaluation, and data collection used to assess and evaluate the client’s needs
