There are several forensic analysis products available to conduct analysis of mobile devices such as cellular phones and tablets. Typically, these products include both hardware to extract data from the mobile device and software to perform analysis of the data. It is important to understand the specifications and capabilities of various write mobile device analysis packages that are used by forensic analysts. This assignment will focus on hardware products. Examples of hardware products are: 1. Digital Intelligence Products (FREDC Forensic Network, Forensic Write Blockers, Forensic Devices) 2. H-11 Digital Forensics Systems 3. DIBS Mobile Forensic Workstation Use the Internet, to research two (2) mobile device analysis tools. White papers, product specification sheets and other documents may be used to research the capabilities of the tools. These documents and other sources of information may be found on forensic hardware or vendor websites. Use the information you researched to compare and contrast the forensic tools.
