What are the major duties of Congress in the American system? How does Congress go about fulfilling these duties?

What are the qualifications, terms, and duties of Senators and Representatives? What accounts for any discrepancies between the two?

What are the roles that the President must fulfill while in office? How do these roles sometimes conflict with one another? How does the Executive Office of the President help mitigate some of these conflicts?

What are the sources of presidential power? How has this power changed over time?

Choose an organization that you work for, or one with which you are familiar. Describe the following for the organization you have chosen:

the formal organization structure (functional, matrix, project-based, or a hybrid of these) that currently exists
informal structures and relationships and how they affect work, how teams are formed
how teams are managed, power structure and resulting politics, and other items you think might have an impact on IT project management.
Discuss the positive or negative effects the existing formal and informal structures are having on projects within the organization (or might have if you do not have information on current projects). Finally, discuss what changes might be made in the organization to improve team management and project performance.

Discussion – discuss how the jurors’ experiences do or do not relate to the concepts presented in the text.  provide specific examples.
