research of Female college athletes, I have found that there are many controversies that the group faces. Some of these difficulties are within the group and others are within the society we live in today. Having the title athlete means that there is a wide variety of people always watching and comparing. Female college athletes are not as praised as male athletes even though they put in the same amount of time and dedication, they also face a lack of respect at the professional level when it comes to the amount of money male athletes make compared to female.
