Civility in Today’s World: Due to increasing political polarization in modern society, many people note that we have become less civil toward one another—that is, we are less inclined to compromise with (or even talk with) those who do not share our worldview. Do you think this is the case? Why or why not? Should civility really be an important value? Why or why not? Are there values that are more important than civility, and if so, what would those be?
