The Public Charge event would deal with health care policy, immigration, and presidential power. It also deals with Congress’s power to legislate (as you heard Rep. Judy Chu in the political action event, say she’s proposing a bill to the House to counteract Pres. Trump’s proposed action on Public Charge). Also, the town hall was like a community neighborhood way of getting local people involved.
