The role of the state in Employee Relations in Ireland encompasses four areas • Employer • Legislator • Regulator • Conciliator For this project you will comment briefly on the state’s role in each of the above areas. (500-750 words). The main body of the project will however will be dedicated to the state’s role as a conciliator. Specifically, to the role of the state in the establishment of the Workplace Relations Commission and the role of the Workplace Relations Commission in Irish Industrial Relations.
