Define your
topic and be sure the definition is narrow enough to be able to discuss it in greater detail and depth.
A. Include a history of the issue, debates surrounding the issue, the current status of the issue, etc.
B. Address the topic’s significance relative to the diversity and justice system. Identify and discus
those laws, regulations, and/or codes that relate to this topic.
C. Finally discuss the status of the topic and anticipated trends (these can be your ideas or the views of
other professionals in the field, or a combination of both).
