Reaction paper taken into consideration seven facets of Hiroshima city, in order to place the city into a larger historical context: a castle town, a modern city in Meiji Period, an industrial city, an imperial city because of the role that that city played in Japanese imperialism, a targeted and destroyed city, a reconstructed city, and a peace city.
