No way everyone is going to become an urban farmer after reading all these articles and seeing all these films. No way everyone is even going to grow a little cilantro on the kitchen counter or on a window cill.
But, everyone can support urban farming. Unfortunately, we are moving toward a place where we may have to do more than go to the grocery store to get our food. Now, growing is a choice. Later, it may become a necessity.
So, what should we do now in terms of trying to become a bit more self sufficient? How should we support those who are taking on the grand endeavors of helping to feed their community?
