Part 1: Data Collection and Definition of Student Behavior

Referring to the “Functions of Behavior” chart found in “Student Scenario: Joseph,” graph the data in a line graph within an Excel document and paste your results within the “Proposal for Behavior Template” beneath the ABC chart.
Create one measurable, observable operational definition for Joseph’s challenging behavior beneath the line graph within the “Proposal for Behavior Template.”
Part 2: Analysis of Data

Within your narrative, develop a hypothesis as to why the target behavior is occurring. Given the outcome of the FBA data and operational definition for student behavior, identify an appropriate replacement behavior. Develop a list of 8-10 motivational and instructional intervention ideas that will contribute to reducing the occurrence of the challenging behavior. Interventions should help Joseph adapt to different environments and promote safe and appropriate behaviors.
Part 4: Proposed Intervention Plan
