As you are likely aware, 2018 is an election year. While we’re not electing a new president this year, our nation will be electing 35 new Senators, 435 new Congressmen, 36 new governors, and untold numbers of new state representatives. As we’re learning about rhetoric in this course, election advisors and politicians are developing rhetorical strategies to put themselves in a good position for November’s elections. Let’s pretend you’re one of them. In a reflection of at least 250 words, tell me what’s going on in the United States. How would you categorize people’s moods? Are opinions changing?
