Part of your responsibilities is working with dual credit students from Roman High School, a local high school in your area. One of the English 1301 professors has reported to you that Melissa, a student in her class, has reported that Daniel, a 17-year-old Junior who attends Roman High School, confided in her that he thinks he may be HIV +. Since you are the dual credit advisor/counselor in charge of students from Roman High School you call Daniel into your office and he confirms that he thinks he is HIV +. He begs you not to tell anyone. He specifically asks you not to tell his high school counselor, principal, or his parents. What do you do? How do you help Daniel?
