Considering Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, do you believe that leaders and managers must continually adapt to employees’ changing needs if they want to keep the workforce engaged, motivated and retained? Why or why not?

Two stonecutters … are asked what they are doing. As this course wraps up, think about how this quote from Etienne Wenger applies to the work you have done in completing the first inquiry on a thesis subject. Do you see yourself as “working on a paper for a class” or do you see yourself completing what would be the equivalent of “building a cathedral?” That’s the question of this assignment.

At the end of the busy day, you and your peers approach your nursing care manager to explain your ideas. The nursing care manager is excited about your ideas and suggests you first review the literature for evidence to support your idea.
