The focus on civil law is not appropriate for the journal; however, the concept of legal reason/reasoning is applicable to both civil and criminal law. We are recommending that the focus be shifted to either a) focus on both criminal and cicil law, with examples from both types of cases; or b) focus on an element of civil law cases that abut with criminal law, such as intellectual property or crimes committed in civil law cases.
