The exercise will reveal how the United Nations, and other multilateral environmental organizations, frame and negotiate their formal decision-making. The Resolutions adopted by the UN General Assembly and its subsidiary bodies, or by the various conference of the parties of MEAs, or of the IUCN World Conservation Congress, follow the same format and process, and lead to adoption of policy and to further steps to framing new international laws.
