At the same time, we can often look back at these “revolutions” and see substantial similarity across these changes. Part of your contribution to our class learning community will be for you to discuss one specific historical development in communication technologies that you believe is a significant turning point in how humans interact with one another. . At the end of your presentation the class should have gained new information about a communication technology, have a stronger understanding of the significance of that technology, and feel more informed about its advantages and disadvantages, and understand the historical significance of this technological event. Structure: What is this technology? When was it developed? What does it do? Why was it developed? How was it developed? Why is this technology significant? What effects positive effects has it had on human communication? What about the negative effects? What is the future of this technology?
